Product Merchandiser

Job Description:

A Product Merchandiser is required to drive business growth by developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients and suppliers. The role involves coordinating production teams to ensure timely delivery of orders, monitoring production schedules, and tracking order progress.

The ideal candidate will have a degree in Textile Engineering or a related field and minimum 3 years of experience in merchandising. Strong knowledge of towel manufacturing and production processes is essential.

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and suppliers.
  2. Coordinate with production teams to ensure timely delivery of orders.
  3. Monitor production schedules and track order progress.
  4. Conduct market research to identify new trends and opportunities.
  5. Assist in product development and sourcing new suppliers.
  6. Create and maintain sales reports and analyze market data.
  7. Negotiate prices, terms, and conditions with suppliers.
  8. Manage product samples and keep track of inventory.
  9. Collaborate with marketing and design teams to develop marketing strategies.
  10. Ensure compliance with quality standards and customer requirements.

Required Skills:

  1. Minimum 3 years of experience in merchandising, preferably in the Textiles industry.
  2. Strong knowledge of towel manufacturing and production processes.
  3. Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  4. Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  5. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and ERP systems.
  6. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  7. Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality.
  8. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment.
  9. Knowledge of market trends and customer preferences.
  10. Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and suppliers.
