Lead Frontend Software Developer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Frontend Software Developer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will play a vital role in advancing our development stack and ensuring scalability as we continue to grow our user base.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  1. Collaborating with cross-functional teams from initial design to resolving production issues, ensuring the complete SDLC
  2. Supporting a wide range of products, focusing on automation, performance, availability, and reliability
  3. Driving innovation and contributing to the continuous improvement of our industry-leading platform
  4. Developing elegant solutions for complex problems and writing clean, maintainable code following best practices
  5. Gaining a deep understanding of the product architecture and effectively communicating the position of your product stream within it
  6. Mentoring and providing guidance to peers in a pair-programming environment

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
  • A minimum of 6 years of experience in JavaScript and frontend technologies
  • Proven experience in React with at least 4 years in a production-level role
  • A strong understanding of state management libraries like Redux
  • Experience optimizing and profiling React applications for performance
  • Familiarity with MVC frameworks
  • Working knowledge of build tools such as Webpack and package management tools like Yarn and NPM
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • The ability to prioritize tasks and adapt in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of Server Side Rendering with React is a plus
