About This Role

  • Design, build, and optimize end-to-end data pipelines and workflows using modern data engineering tools and best practices.
  • Own the design and evolution of scalable data models and schemas, particularly in Amazon Redshift and data lake environments.
  • Ensure high availability, performance, and reliability of our data infrastructure.
  • Lead and mentor a team of data engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and accountability.
  • Collaborate closely with analytics, data science, product, and engineering teams to deliver high-quality, trusted data.
  • Champion data quality, security, governance, and monitoring across all layers of the stack.
  • Evaluate and adopt new technologies that can help scale our platform and improve developer productivity.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience in data engineering with at least 2+ years in a lead role
  • Deep hands-on expertise in building cloud-native data pipelines (AWS preferred)
  • Proven experience with batch + streaming data solutions, CDC, and event-driven architectures
  • Strong knowledge of data warehousing, data lakes, and modern data platforms
  • Expert-level SQL and proficiency in Python / PySpark
  • Track record of leading end-to-end data initiatives from design to production
  • Excellent problem-solving and stakeholder management skills
