Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design and development of robust, scalable
    solutions and architectures
    using AWS services.
  • Architect and implement cloud-native platforms, including data lakes, application backends, and enterprise-grade infrastructure.
  • Work independently with clients and stakeholders to gather requirements, define cloud strategies, and drive implementations.
  • Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership across cloud projects.
  • Optimize cloud solutions for performance, cost-efficiency, and scalability.
  • Ensure best security, governance, and compliance practices across all AWS deployments.
  • Build and manage CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure and data workflows.
  • Support DevOps initiatives and cloud automation using Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools.

Requirements:

  • 5–7 years of hands-on experience in cloud engineering, with a strong focus on AWS cloud solutions.
  • Proficiency in AWS services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, Glue, Athena, Redshift, Step Functions, CloudFormation, IAM, API Gateway, etc.
  • Strong programming/scripting skills in
    Python and SQL
    ; experience with PySpark/Spark is a plus.
  • Experience with
    cloud data engineering
    and
    DevOps
    .
  • Solid understanding of cloud infrastructure, networking, and security practices.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proven experience in leading teams and delivering end-to-end projects.
  • AWS Certified (at least 2 Associate or 1 Professional level).

Good to Have:

  • Experience with
    Azure (e.g., Azure Data Factory, Synapse Analytics)
    .
  • Familiarity with
    Databricks
    and the
    Delta Lake
    architecture.
  • Exposure to data visualization tools (e.g., QuickSight, Tableau, Power BI).
