Job Overview

This role involves developing detailed engineering designs, technical documentation, and layouts for renewable energy projects.

  • Develop comprehensive engineering designs, electrical layouts, and single-line diagrams (SLDs) for renewable energy projects.
  • Perform load flow analysis, system sizing, energy yield assessment, and performance simulations to ensure optimal results.
  • Prepare detailed bill of quantities (BOQs), technical specifications, and project cost estimates for clients.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams during tendering, proposals, and client presentations to provide critical engineering inputs.
  • Evaluate vendor/contractor designs, technical submissions, shop drawings, and material specifications to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Conduct feasibility studies and site surveys, providing actionable technical reports and recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Support project managers in planning, scheduling, and resource allocation for successful project execution.
  • Coordinate with procurement teams for technical evaluations of equipment, components, and suppliers.
  • Provide on-site supervision, testing, and commissioning support to ensure timely resolution of system issues.
  • Assess risks and ensure adherence to international standards, codes, and HSE requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Maintain accurate as-built drawings, design documentation, and technical records for seamless project handover.
  • Offer training and technical support to operations and maintenance (O&M) teams and client representatives.
  • Identify opportunities for design optimization, cost reduction, and performance improvement in ongoing projects.
