Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop detailed engineering designs, electrical layouts, and single-line diagrams (SLDs) for renewable energy projects.
  • Perform load flow analysis, system sizing, energy yield assessment, and performance simulations.
  • Prepare detailed bill of quantities (BOQs), technical specifications, and project cost estimates.
  • Provide technical inputs during tendering, proposals, and client presentations.
  • Review vendor/contractor designs, technical submissions, shop drawings, and material specifications.
  • Conduct feasibility studies and site surveys, providing technical reports and recommendations.
  • Assist project managers in planning, scheduling, and resource allocation for execution.
  • Coordinate with procurement teams for technical evaluations of equipment, components, and suppliers.
  • Support project execution through site visits, installation supervision, testing, and commissioning.
  • Troubleshoot system issues during installation and operations, ensuring timely resolution.
  • Conduct risk assessments and ensure compliance with international standards, codes, and health safety environment (HSE) requirements.
  • Maintain as-built drawings, design documentation, and technical records for project handover.
  • Provide training and technical support to operational and maintenance (O&M) teams and client representatives.
  • Identify opportunities for design optimization, cost reduction, and performance improvement in projects.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics, Renewable Energy, or related field.
  • 2–3 years of experience in renewable energy design and execution.
  • Proficiency in designing software(s).
  • Strong understanding of solar PV systems, inverters, energy storage, and hybrid integration.
  • Ability to interpret and prepare technical drawings, schematics, and documentation.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project coordination skills.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills; ability to liaise with cross-functional teams.
  • Flexibility to travel to project sites when required.
