Senior Backend Engineer Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced software engineer to lead the design, development, and maintenance of our company's core systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable and high-performance backend systems using Java.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement new features.
  • Optimize existing code to enhance system performance and reliability.
  • Participate in code reviews and ensure code quality and best practices are maintained.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve production issues in a timely manner.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 4-5 years of experience in Java development, including Spring Boot and Hibernate.
  • Strong understanding of software architecture and design patterns.
  • Experience with RESTful API design and development and JSON.
  • Knowledge of database systems, specifically SQL databases.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
