**Job Overview**

We are seeking a highly skilled Network and System Manager to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing mission-critical web and database servers, as well as network security systems.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the administration and maintenance of our internal networks, servers, email systems, and network security infrastructure.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Server administration: configuration, set-up, and maintenance of all new server systems
  • Firewall administration and overall internal network security
  • Email server administration for company-wide email and client email handling systems
  • Maintenance of anti-spam and anti-virus systems
  • Basic operational support for internal employee computer systems
  • Team management and control

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of working in a busy, client-focused organization and will possess excellent communication and leadership skills.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Good working knowledge of Windows XP, 2000 / 2003, Linux, and Unix
  • Exchange server 2003 and Microtic Server implementation experience
  • Experience in administering Linux systems
  • Good working knowledge of major networking components, network operating systems, and basic computer hardware components
  • MCSE or CCNA certification is desirable
