Oncology Medical Officer

Aga Khan University is seeking a Medical Officer to join its Day Care Oncology team at Clifton Medical Services.
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity for a medical professional to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the growth of our oncology services.
The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing patients before and during chemotherapy administration, entering chemotherapeutics in accordance with consultants' advice, prescribing post-chemotherapy medications, and performing outpatient diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
Key Responsibilities- Assess patient before and during chemotherapy administration
- Enter chemotherapeutics in accordance with consultants' advice
- Prescribe post-chemotherapy medications
- Perform outpatient diagnostic and therapeutic procedures
To be considered for this role, you will need:
- MBBS degree and additional diploma, MCPS, FCPS-I or MRCP-I
- At least two to three years of relevant experience
- A valid license from Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PMDC)
- Ability to work independently and with teams
- Ability to work under pressure on different rotations/shifts
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- A valid BLS certificate
