Quality Assurance Test Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Quality Assurance Test Engineer to join our team. As a QA Engineer, you will be responsible for planning and executing verification of features broken down into components for weekly releases.


About the Role:

The primary objective of this role is to ensure the quality and integrity of our software applications by identifying and reporting defects, as well as implementing process improvements.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and execute verification of features broken down into components for weekly releases.
  • Take full ownership of all QA artifacts and ensure their accuracy and completeness.
  • Identify execution gaps and implement process improvements.
  • Aid in retrospecting possible customer issues with leads.
  • Document defects, questionable functions, errors, and inconsistencies in web and mobile applications as well as ELD functions, outputs, online screens, and content.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will require:


  • 2+ years of experience in Software Testing.
  • Flare for testing map-based real-time systems.
  • Knowledge of Agile methodologies, SCRUM, and Agile Testing Life Cycles.
  • Ability to take ownership of all manual testing tasks.
  • Experience in both manual testing and automation.
  • Ability to understand Software Design Specifications.
  • Ability to create boundary value, positive, and negative test cases.
  • Basic knowledge of Rest API.
  • UI Automation will be a plus.
  • Knowledge of issue tracking tools (JIRA will be preferable).
  • Knowledge of OOP, Data Structures, and Algorithms.
  • Keen towards programming languages and code reviews.
