Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Demand Forecaster Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our supply chain, you will play a crucial role in delivering accurate demand forecasts.

Your primary responsibility will be to set up and maintain product skus within our forecasting tool. You will also prepare statistical forecasts across assigned portfolios to maintain a strong baseline forecast.

You will use internal and external intelligence to predict demand for both tactical (1-6 months) and strategic forecasts (7-24 rolling months). This includes analyzing consumption sales at retailers, promotional activity, and historic trends to understand their impact on demand.

In addition, you will establish a weekly process using exception-based planning reports to adjust forecasts as necessary, adhering to our Key Performance Indicators thresholds. You will hold bi-weekly consensus meetings with the Demand Planner/Jr Demand Planner team to address any changes to statistical models.

Your analytical skills will be essential in using marketing and sales data to estimate future product demands. You will generate forecast solutions for business partners and train Demand Planning end-users on the system and logic.

Furthermore, you will support management with risk assessments and mitigation activities. You will propose and implement solutions to improve demand forecast accuracy, monitoring and reporting on important changes in sales forecasts, budgets, and business strategies.
