The role of a Statistical Demand Planner is pivotal in ensuring the delivery of accurate demand forecasts, which are critical to meeting commercial commitments.

As a key member of the supply chain team, you will be responsible for setting up and maintaining product skus within forecasting tools, preparing statistical forecasts, and using internal and external intelligence to predict demand.

You will work closely with demand planning teams, sales, and supply and manufacturing teams to provide clear communication and ensure that forecasts are aligned with business objectives.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • Forecasting: Set up and maintain product skus, prepare statistical forecasts, and use internal and external intelligence to predict demand.
  • Communication: Work closely with demand planning teams, sales, and supply and manufacturing teams to ensure clear communication and alignment of forecasts with business objectives.
  • Process Improvement: Establish a weekly process of exception-based planning reports to adjust forecasts as necessary and hold to thresholds of RB's Key Performance Indicators.
  • Collaboration: Hold bi-weekly consensus meetings with respective Demand Planner/Jr Demand Planner to address any changes to statistical models.
The Skills We're Looking For
  • A College Degree in a related field.
  • A deep understanding of statistical algorithms.
  • Well versed in forecasting systems (SAP, JDA, Excel, etc).
  • A minimum of 3-5 years' experience in a demand planning/forecasting role.
Beyond Forecasting

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with advanced analytics, data analytics, supply chain planning, and logistics management. You will also have the chance to improve business processes, propose solutions to improve demand forecast accuracy, and support management with risk assessments and mitigation activities.
