Job Title: Cloud Security Architect Lead

 

Solution Overview

We seek a seasoned Cloud Security Architect to lead our cloud security strategy and implementation.

This role involves defining technical strategies, driving innovation, and overseeing the implementation of complex client solutions. The ideal candidate will have expertise in security design and cloud architecture, with specialization in Microsoft 365 and Azure environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Technical Leadership: Provide guidance and mentorship to engineering teams, analyze technical requirements, and evaluate technology solutions.
  2. Solution Design: Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to develop detailed cost justifications for complex solutions and architect scalable, secure, and high-performance cloud-based and hybrid solutions.
  3. Security Best Practices: Implement and enforce security best practices, design and maintain Azure, Microsoft 365, and cloud-based SaaS applications, and ensure adherence to standards within client environments.
  4. Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of architectures, processes, and best practices.
  5. Tech Guidance: Educate and assist teams with understanding and implementing new technology investments or changes.

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field preferred.
  2. Minimum of 15 years of relevant technical experience, including at least five years in a senior technical role.
  3. Experience implementing security architectures across on-premises and cloud (Azure).
  4. Proficiency in hardening servers, workstations, and mobile devices.
  5. Expertise in Azure, Microsoft 365, and MSP toolsets.
  6. Microsoft Azure certifications (e.g., Azure Administrator Associate, Azure Solutions Architect Expert) preferred or demonstrated experience.
  7. Deep knowledge of Azure AVD, Entra B2B, Okta, and Nerdio.
  8. Strong understanding of networking, security, and identity management.
  9. Knowledge of Data Engineering, Machine Learning frameworks, prompts, and LLMs.
  10. Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  11. Self-starter capable of working independently or in teams.
  12. Effective negotiation and vendor management skills.
  13. Ability to communicate complex technical issues clearly and simply.
  14. Strong relationship-building and stakeholder influence skills.
