Compensation Manager for Global Markets

We are seeking an experienced Compensation Manager to oversee the development and implementation of effective total rewards strategies in various global markets.

About the Role:

This is a key leadership position that requires a strong understanding of market trends, compensation best practices, and business objectives. As a Compensation Manager, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing local total rewards packages that drive attraction and retention of top talent while ensuring alignment with company goals and values.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement global processes and geographical programs/initiatives aligned with market and business needs.
  • Partner with stakeholders to support business needs through consultation and lead the implementation of global processes and pay philosophy in the geography by defining fair and driven local compensation and benefit offerings based on global and market area principles.
  • Design, implement, and manage local total rewards packages including benchmark and benefit design to ensure efficiency and competitiveness in the local market.
  • Drive country-level governance and compliance by securing that all Total Reward results have applicable instructions, frameworks, processes, and governance in line with global Total Reward directives in collaboration with local People Business Partners.
  • Provide proactive Total Rewards thought leadership to business leaders via external and internal market data, trends, and insights.
  • Support People Business Partners to use this information to enable business leaders to make strategic business decisions and guidance on employee engagement.

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources or finance required; Master of Business degree preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience in total rewards.
  • Proven experience in managing compensation and benefit program design, driven market analysis, forecasting trends/costs in a geography.
  • Ability to work in partnership and consulting with People Business Partners.
  • Experience in the design and successful implementation of reward programs and tools with strong analytics capabilities.
  • Consultative approach and ability to effectively communicate policies and information.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy of data, ability to prioritize and follow through on requests.
  • Global mindset and ability to make things happen in a matrixed organization.
  • Fluency in English essential; Arabic or French a plus.
  • Project Management Skills and Financial Acumen required.
