Job Description

Our organization is seeking an experienced Procurement Specialist to lead and optimize procurement operations for a pharmaceutical manufacturing client. The ideal candidate will be responsible for sourcing active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs), excipients, packaging materials, and equipment while ensuring compliance with industry standards, regulatory guidelines, and company policies.

Responsibilities:
  • Sourcing APIs, excipients, and packaging materials for regulated pharmaceutical production.
  • Ensuring compliance with cGMP, FDA, and other pharmaceutical industry regulations.
  • Managing cost efficiency, supplier negotiations, and inventory control.
  • Leading and optimizing procurement operations.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, the candidate should have:

  • A BBA/ MBA in Supply Chain Management.
  • Minimum 7+ years of experience in procurement management within a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.
  • Expertise in sourcing APIs, excipients, and packaging materials for regulated pharmaceutical production.
  • Strong understanding of cGMP, FDA, and other pharmaceutical industry regulations.
  • Proven track record of cost management, supplier negotiations, and inventory control.
  • Proficiency in SAP and advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
  • Exceptional leadership, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
