Health Safety and Environment Role

This role involves leading our health, safety and environment initiatives, ensuring alignment with local and international standards.

The successful candidate will have a Master's degree in a relevant field.

  • Develop and implement the company's Health, Safety, Environment, Management System (HSEMS).
  • Communicate with stakeholders, including customers and employees.
  • Establish and maintain HR, HSE standards, procedures and guidelines.
  • Report to the Director on HSE and HRMS performance.
  • Cultivate best practices in HR and HSE through effective communication.
  • Identify challenges, register them and develop updated systems and procedures.
  • Conduct internal and external audits.
  • Provide guidance on health and safety plans and monitor their effectiveness.
  • Establish and maintain health and safety training standards.
  • Advise the Health and Safety committee.
  • Recommend changes to improve policies.
  • Develop a system to provide health and safety information to workers.
  • Support managers in implementing health and safety policies.
  • Maintain regular oversight of key performance indicators.
  • Conduct review meetings to discuss HSE and HRMS performance.
