Healthcare Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Healthcare Specialist to provide medical expertise and treatment to our employees, ensuring a safe and healthy work environment.

The selected candidate will possess excellent clinical and interpersonal skills to ensure the well-being of employees. The role requires strong problem-solving abilities, effective communication, and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Medical Care Provision: Provide primary medical care to on-job employees, including diagnosis, first aid treatment, and referrals.
  • Risk Assessment and Management: Conduct workplace risk assessments, monitor employee health, and implement measures to prevent work-related illnesses.
  • Emergency Response: Respond to medical emergencies, provide first aid, and coordinate evacuations if necessary.
  • Medical Record Keeping: Maintain accurate medical records, manage approved medical supplies, and staff training/development.
Mandatory Qualifications:
  • Ambulatory and general medical degree (RMP) or equivalent qualification.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in occupational health, general practice, or a related field.
  • Valid medical license, BLS/ACLS certification (or equivalent).
Essential Skills and Abilities:
  • Clinical and Communication Skills: Strong clinical and communication skills.
  • Teamwork and Problem-Solving: Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with occupational health and safety regulations.
  • Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in Microsoft Office and electronic medical records.
