Test Engineer: The Foundation of Software Development

As a Test Engineer at our company, you will lay the foundation for successful software development by designing, developing, and executing comprehensive tests to ensure the quality of our products. Your primary responsibility will be to collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize testing needs, create and maintain test cases, and execute tests to validate software functionality.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in computer science or a related field, with a minimum of one year of experience in software testing. They should possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

In this role, you will work closely with developers, designers, and other stakeholders to ensure that our products meet the required standards. You will also be responsible for identifying and reporting defects, collaborating with developers to reproduce and resolve issues, and developing and maintaining test automation frameworks to improve efficiency and reduce manual testing efforts.

Key Responsibilities

* Design and develop comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure thorough testing of software functionality

* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize testing needs

* Execute tests to validate software functionality and identify defects

Requirements

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field

* 1+ year of experience in software testing, preferably with experience in agile development methodologies
