Government organizations seeking professionals with a strong track record in administration, management, and project development are looking for qualified candidates to fill the role of Chairman, Karachi Port Trust. This position requires a Master's degree from a recognized university in a field such as Management, Administrative Sciences, or Social Sciences.

The ideal candidate should have at least 9 years of experience at an executive level in administration, management, or project development in a reputable public or private organization. A minimum of 5 years of senior management experience is also required. Experience in port management is highly valued.

The selected individual will be responsible for performing duties and functions assigned under the KPT Act, 1886. The Chairman will oversee the implementation of the organization's mandate and ensure that the KPT Act is adhered to.

Candidates currently employed in government departments, semi-government institutions, or autonomous bodies must apply through the proper channel.

Candidates will be assessed based on their qualifications and experience, taking into account the provisions of the KPT Act, 1886, SOE Act, 2023, and Federal Government policies regarding the appointment of Chief Executives in key public sector organizations.
