The IT Infrastructure and Database Head at Zong CMPak Ltd will be responsible for providing strategic leadership in designing and implementing scalable, secure, and high-availability database architectures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement database management, backup & restore policies and best practices to ensure efficiency and compliance.
  • Oversee installation, configuration, and administration of Oracle Databases, ERP Applications DBA, SQL Server and other open source databases across different OS platforms (Linux, Solaris, Windows).
  • Implement query optimization, indexing strategies, and performance tuning to enhance database efficiency.

You will also be responsible for managing database security, conducting vulnerability assessments, and ensuring compliance with industry standards. Additionally, you will develop and maintain robust backup, restore, and disaster recovery (DR) solutions for business continuity.

We are looking for a candidate with 8+ years of experience in database administration & IT management, preferably in the telecom sector or handling large-scale, high-transaction databases. You should have expertise in Oracle database, ERP applications DBA, SQL Server, and open source databases (Linux, Solaris, Windows). Experience with replication, clustering, high availability, and disaster recovery is highly desirable.
