English Language Skills Assessor

A key role for an English Language Skills Assessor is to conduct comprehensive assessments of employees' spoken English skills, ensuring they can communicate effectively with customers worldwide.
The position involves daily call quality monitoring, where the assessor will evaluate the spoken English skills of employees through regular interactions. They will work collaboratively as part of a team to deliver high-quality service and provide ongoing support to enhance customer service standards.
In addition to assessing employee English proficiency, the assessor will develop and implement training programs to improve vocabulary, pronunciation, and spoken English skills. This feedback will be delivered through coaching and mentoring sessions.
To further enhance customer service standards, the assessor will provide training on culture-specific customer services and develop resources to upskill employees' English language skills.
The English Language Skills Assessor will also be responsible for maintaining the accuracy of transcribed files by conducting Quality Assurance checks and implementing procedures to ensure data integrity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Developing and managing auto-scored English language proficiency assessments to ensure job applicants possess the necessary communication skills.
- Evaluating and improving the effectiveness of training programs.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives.
