Job Title: Area Studies Program Manager

Job Overview:

  • We are seeking a seasoned expert to lead our area studies program, providing strategic insights and recommendations to drive academic excellence.
  • The successful candidate will develop and implement research projects focused on regional issues and concerns, collaborating with faculty members and stakeholders to design and deliver relevant academic programs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a mentor and supervisor to researchers and staff members working on area studies projects, fostering a culture of collaboration and knowledge sharing.
  • Analyze data, conduct literature reviews, and present findings to various audiences, communicating complex ideas in a clear and concise manner.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with external partners, including government agencies, NGOs, and private sector organizations, to advance the program's objectives.

Requirements:

  • Ph.D. in a relevant field, such as international relations, political science, or history.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in research and academics, preferably in a leadership role.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and project management skills, with a proven track record of success.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in teaching and curriculum development, with a focus on creating engaging and effective learning experiences.
