Program Coordinator

Overview:

The Program Coordinator is responsible for designing, planning, and executing training programs that align with market needs and employer expectations. The role focuses on curriculum development, end-to-end program management, and quality delivery of training cycles. It involves coordinating with internal teams and external partners to ensure impactful learning experiences. Data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement are key aspects of the role.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Curriculum Design & Development

• Lead the design, review, and continuous improvement of training curricula based on market needs, employer input, and learner feedback.
• Collaborate with content developers and trainers to ensure curriculum is engaging, up-to-date, and aligned with learning outcomes.
• Integrate career-readiness frameworks and practical skills into the curriculum to enhance employability.
• Develop tools, assessments, and learning materials that support effective knowledge transfer.

Program Planning & Execution

• Own end-to-end planning and execution of the program lifecycle—from outreach and onboarding to training, graduation, and placement.
• Develop detailed timelines, resource plans, and execution frameworks to ensure smooth delivery of each training cohort.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams including trainers, content creators, operations staff, and external partners to deliver program milestones on time.
• Anticipate potential risks or challenges and implement proactive solutions to keep program delivery on track.

Program Coordination & Monitoring

• Ensure each training module and activity is delivered as planned, with quality assurance at every stage.
• Align training outcomes with employer expectations and candidate readiness for job placements.
• Monitor and support trainers for effective session delivery, engagement, and adherence to standards.

Data-Driven Improvement & Reporting

• Track program KPIs such as enrollment, engagement, training completion, job placements, and retention.
• Analyze data to assess program performance and recommend curriculum or delivery changes accordingly.
• Use dashboards and reporting tools to keep stakeholders informed and support continuous improvement.

Stakeholder Engagement & Partnerships

• Build and manage relationships with training partners, employers, mentors, and alumni to enhance program effectiveness.
• Act as the key liaison for all program-related communications with external stakeholders.
• Organize feedback sessions, industry talks, and placement events to maintain engagement and improve alignment.

Candidate Support & Career Preparation

• Ensure participants are prepared for the workforce through resume reviews, mock interviews, and career coaching.
• Match candidates with suitable job opportunities and follow up post-placement for retention tracking.
• Identify high-potential candidates and provide targeted support for long-term career growth.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Master's in Education, Business Administration, HR, Development Studies, or a related field.
• 3 years of experience in curriculum design, program execution, or training coordination-preferably in youth development or employability-focused roles.
• Strong planning, project management, and organizational skills with a track record of delivering programs end-to-end.
• Expertise in instructional design, learner engagement strategies, and performance measurement.
• Proficient in project management tools (Asana, Trello, Notion), spreadsheets, Google Workspace, and CRM/ATS platforms.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, especially with employers and training partners.
• Familiarity with the job market and emerging skill demands.
• Adaptable and comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
