Job Description

As a seasoned professional in the field, you will play a critical role in:

  • Designing and developing scalable data models and robust database architectures using SQL Server 2012+
  • Writing and enhancing complex stored procedures, views, and functions to support application functionality and performance
  • Monitoring, tuning, and troubleshooting databases to maintain high performance and data concurrency
  • Implementing ETL processes and supporting business intelligence initiatives through tools such as SSIS and SSAS
  • Managing database backup/restore strategies, including replication, mirroring, and log shipping
  • Utilizing NoSQL databases like MongoDB, Cassandra, and others to meet specific project requirements

Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate should possess:

  • Advanced skills in SQL Server 2012+ and experience in complex data modeling, development, and performance tuning
  • Familiarity with Big Data, Python, BI, and other evolving technologies is a plus
  • SQL Server certification or other relevant credentials is a bonus
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to tackle complex challenges and deliver effective solutions
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, fostering clear collaboration within and outside the development team
