We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented video editor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in video editing, a strong understanding of animation techniques, and the ability to transform scripts into compelling video content.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Edit and assemble recorded footage into a polished final product according to provided scripts.
  • Create engaging animations that enhance storytelling and explain complex concepts.
  • Collaborate with the content team to develop and execute video concepts and styles.
  • Ensure the final videos are optimized for YouTube, including appropriate formatting and SEO practices.
  • Stay updated with the latest trends in video editing and animation to ensure our content is fresh and innovative.
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in video editing, preferably for YouTube or other online platforms.
  • Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro) and animation software (e.g., Adobe After Effects, Blender).
  • Strong understanding of video production processes, including sound design and color grading.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
  • A portfolio showcasing previous video editing and animation work is a must.
Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or similar tools.
  • Knowledge of motion graphics and visual effects software like After Effects, Blender, or similar (preferred).
  • Understanding of video compression techniques and optimization for YouTube's platform.
  • Ability to work with different file formats, codecs, and resolutions (4K, HD, etc.).
Creative Skills:
  • Strong storytelling skills and the ability to transform raw footage into engaging, compelling content.
  • Understanding of pacing, music synchronization, and audio balancing.
  • Ability to create attention-grabbing thumbnails, intros, and outros.
  • Familiarity with modern YouTube trends and audience preferences.
YouTube Knowledge:
  • In-depth understanding of YouTube's video algorithms, SEO, and best practices for video uploads.
  • Ability to craft metadata (titles, tags, and descriptions) to maximize video discoverability.
  • Knowledge of YouTube copyright policies, community guidelines, and monetization strategies.
