We are seeking a highly experienced Tax Advisory professional to join our team in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in corporate tax, with a minimum of 2 years of experience in a large professional services company or similar environment.

The successful candidate will work with organizations and individuals to structure transactions and operations in a tax-effective manner. This includes helping clients to mitigate tax risk and comply effectively with tax laws.

You will assist in providing high-quality tax advisory services, including tax research memos and tax advisory reports. You will also establish and maintain valued internal and external relationships to ensure that the services delivered to clients meet the highest standards.

Key responsibilities include:

  1. Preparation of tax research memos and tax advisory reports
  2. Assistance with local state tax return preparation and attendance at meetings with the local Tax Authority on client-related tax matters
  3. Establishment and maintenance of valued internal and external relationships
  4. Day-to-day supervision of client engagements, monitoring progress and deliverables, and implementing standardized processes
  5. Identification of risks and escalation of issues as appropriate

To qualify for this role, you must have a bachelor's degree with strong academic credentials in accounting, business, finance, law, taxation, or any related field. Preferably, you should hold an MBA, Masters, LLM, or another related advanced degree and/or professional qualifications such as CA, CPA, ACCA, CTA, ADIT, or equivalent.

An excellent communicator with strong analytical and problem-solving skills is required. Experience of dealing with multinational clients and ability to work in a multicultural environment is also essential.
