Job Title: Library Assistant

Responsibilities
  • Circulation of library materials, including issuance, return, reserve, and renewal.
  • Creation of metadata for library resources in Virtua.
  • Validation of metadata to ensure accuracy.
  • Verification of received materials with ordered items.
  • Scanning contents for digitization purposes.
  • Maintenance of the electronic press clipping record.
  • Facilitation of serials and database subscriptions.
  • Updating of the log of serials.
  • Preparation and distribution of journal Table of Contents to faculty members.
  • Assistance with search and retrieval of case laws.
  • Shelf-reading and maintenance of assigned collection areas.

Qualification:
