Job Summary

The Financial Data Analyst is responsible for preparing and analyzing financial data to support business decision-making. This role involves collecting, processing, and maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial information.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Prepare data structures, refine, and categorize data according to investment portfolio requirements.
  • Collect data from multiple sources, align it on a uniform basis, and prepare meaningful data analysis.
  • Manually download bulk reports from different systems and categorize them into meaningful data for stakeholders.
  • Monitor data feeds and check for errors or discrepancies.
  • Input and update manual prices for relevant securities.
  • Maintain the correct categorization of securities.
  • Provide data statistics and analysis on a monthly basis or as required by management.
  • Monitor the KYC module and notify compliance of any upcoming expiration of documents.
  • Highlight errors and inefficiencies in the system and perform necessary changes to remove errors.
  • Produce daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports as per business requirements.
  • Investigate data/performance-related queries raised by the team.
  • Produce weekly meeting minutes for the team meeting.
  • Continuously work on improving data workflows across various departments.

  • Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel Advanced Level, Word & PowerPoint)
  • Microsoft Teams
  • Bloomberg

Skill Sets Required:

  • Graduate degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
  • Minimum 4-5 years of experience handling and working with bulk and unstructured data, data visualization at a banking or financial institution or finance department of a reputable organization.
  • Strong knowledge of MS-Office (Outlook, Excel Advanced Level, Word & PowerPoint).
  • Good working knowledge of data management tools.
  • Minimum 2 years of prior experience working on any management software, accounting software, or data management system.
  • Fluent in both written and spoken English.
  • Self-starter and motivated.
  • Willing to work as part of a team.
  • Team player with strong interpersonal skills and proactive approach.
  • Person with intelligent working style and habits.
