Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to fill the role of District Manager Logistics. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our logistics branch, ensuring the smooth execution of shipments, and driving business growth through effective management of our vendors and clients.

Main Responsibilities
  1. Create and maintain an effective organizational structure that supports flexibility and growth.
  2. Develop, implement, and regularly review the business plan for the branch, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
  3. Monitor and improve key productivity indicators, including Shipments Per Desk (SPD), Revenue Per Desk (RPD), Expense Per Desk (EPD), Revenue Per Shipment (RPS), and Revenue to Expense ratio.
  4. Foster a culture of compliance with regulations, internal policies, and external government requirements.
  5. Collaborate with the management team to optimize process flows, reduce costs, and enhance customer service.
  6. Ensure all standard operating procedures are documented and up-to-date in the Desk Level Standard Operating Procedures database.
  7. Evaluate vendors at regular intervals, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective action plans as needed.
  8. Stay informed about industry developments through regular reading of business and trade journals and attendance at relevant events.
Financial Management

Key Financial Responsibilities

  1. Prepare the annual branch budget and present it to your supervisor.
  2. Regularly review the branch's financial performance, including profitability and productivity metrics.
  3. Focus on improving cost control and optimizing resource allocation.
  4. Proactively manage accounts receivable, ensuring timely payment from clients.
  5. Ensure adherence to company credit procedures and effectively utilize BNP for vendor payments.
  6. Manage inter-company accounting discrepancies via the AJAX report.
  7. Review the Daily Branch Revenue report daily.
  8. Verify that all contracts, vendor agreements, and customer terms comply with company policies before signing.
  9. Follow the company's capital expenditure procedure when purchasing equipment for staff or department use.
  10. Use the Top 20 Accounts report to analyze revenue distribution among clients and strive for a balanced client base.
