Job Summary

We are seeking an Oil Well Operations Specialist to join our team. This role is responsible for assisting during rigging-up and rigging-down of cementing service equipment at work locations.

The ideal candidate will have basic knowledge of oil well operations, including pipe capacities, volume/height calculations, plug landing pressures, absolute volumes, hydrostatic and differential pressures, resulting forces, balanced plugs, cement blending calculations with additives and spacers, pressure reversal, and burst/collapse determinations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in operating equipment like cement pumps, blenders, additive metering systems, centrifugal pumps, data acquisition systems, ADC systems, bulk cement systems, manifold equipment, and cementing plug tools.
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and complete related documentation.
  • Verify correct valve configurations on bulk systems and surface equipment.
  • Promote quality improvement processes.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 0-6 months of experience as an Operator Asst-Cementing I.
  • Certification in Cementing II and Service Tools I may be required.
  • Effective communication, safety awareness, environmental consciousness, and compliance with HSE regulations are essential.
