Key Responsibilities

The Procurement Officer will be responsible for ensuring the implementation of procurement activities in accordance with UNDP rules, regulations, policies, and strategies. This includes:

  1. Preparing and drafting procurement documentation, including RFQs, RFPs, and micro-purchasing documents.
  2. Advising on project procurement activities and sourcing strategies that meet UNDP procurement principles.
  3. Preparing reports on the status of procurement activities and making presentations to national counterparts and other stakeholders on UNDP's procurement process.
  4. Developing and implementing cost-saving and reduction strategies in project procurement.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in procurement, excellent analytical skills, and experience working in a multicultural environment.
