Senior Cloud Operations Specialist

We are looking for a highly motivated Senior Cloud Operations Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for learning and a commitment to staying up-to-date with the latest technologies and methodologies.

  • The successful candidate will lead the development of an automation-first and continuous improvement mindset within the team.
  • They will also be responsible for developing team members through knowledge sharing, training, and constructive feedback.
  • Strong communication skills are essential to understand and prioritize customer needs, translating them into actionable requirements for the team.
Technical Requirements
  • Design and set up highly available, fault-tolerant, and scalable applications in public cloud environments; preferably AWS.
  • Experience with optimizing cloud infrastructure according to the six pillars of Well Architected Framework.
  • CI/CD pipeline design for dev, staging, and production environments. Experience with GitHub CI, ArgoCD, and Jenkins is desirable.
  • Container orchestration tool experience, preferably Amazon EKS.
  • Automating and infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure as Code; preferably Terraform or Amazon CloudFormation.
  • Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools like Prometheus, ELK, Grafana, etc.
  • Proficiency in tools like Ansible, Puppet, or Chef for automating server configuration and management tasks.
  • Candidates with Professional Level certifications (Solution Architect Pro, DevOps Pro) in AWS are preferred.
Education
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • At least 4 years of experience in cloud operations is required.
