Job Title: Test Automation Engineer

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Test Automation Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated test frameworks for UI and API testing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and Develop Automated Test Frameworks: You will design and develop scalable automated test frameworks for UI and API testing using Cypress or Playwright. Your frameworks will enable us to deliver high-quality software products efficiently.
  • Integrate with CI/CD Pipelines: You will integrate test automation with our CI/CD pipelines, ensuring seamless deployment of software products.
  • Collaborate with Development Team: You will collaborate with our development team to define test strategies and coverage, ensuring that our software products meet the required standards.
  • Investigate Test Failures: You will investigate test failures, analyze logs, and perform root cause analysis to resolve issues efficiently.

Requirements:

  • Experience: 2-4 years of experience as a Test Automation Engineer or similar role is required.
  • Skills: Strong hands-on experience with Cypress or Playwright, solid understanding of modern testing methodologies (unit, integration, E2E), and experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions) is required.
  • Familiarity: Familiarity with Cypress / Rest Assured / Jmeter is desired.
  • Skills: Excellent debugging, problem-solving, and communication skills is essential.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience Testing Microservices: Experience testing microservices or cloud-native applications is desirable.
  • Knowledge of Performance or Security Testing Tools: Knowledge of performance or security testing tools is a plus.
  • Agile Environment: Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments is beneficial.
