Job Title: Mid-Level Back-End Developer

We are expanding our talented team with professionals who are passionate about back-end development and eager to contribute to the next stages of our platform's growth.

The successful candidate will play a crucial role in the development and maintenance of our platform. Reporting directly to the Senior Developer and collaborating with the Project Manager, your responsibilities will include maintaining and enhancing features built by your colleagues, ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front-end.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and optimize server-side components to ensure smooth operation.
  • Resolve bugs and issues reported on the platform to guarantee seamless user experience.
  • Implement small features and improvements to enhance platform performance and meet business objectives.
  • Manage and maintain database connections and queries, ensuring timely data retrieval and storage.
  • Support front-end developers by troubleshooting and resolving integration issues to deliver robust solutions.
  • Work with the QA team to identify bugs and contribute to testing efforts to ensure high-quality products.
  • Perform code reviews and provide feedback to ensure coding standards and best practices are followed.
  • Create and update technical documentation for codebases, workflows, and system architecture to facilitate knowledge sharing.
  • Assist in identifying bottlenecks in the current system and propose solutions to resolve them and improve efficiency.
  • Ensure security practices are followed across all server-side operations to protect sensitive information.
  • Stay updated with the latest back-end development trends and technologies to continuously improve the platform and stay ahead of competition.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Back-End Developer.
  • Strong experience with the Laravel framework.
  • Proficient in PHP, SQL, and other back-end languages.
  • Experience designing and managing database technologies such as MySQL, Oracle, or MongoDB.
  • Familiarity with version control tools like GIT.
  • Experience building scalable and distributed systems.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage projects effectively.
  • Experience with cloud services, such as Azure, and server management.
  • Excellent analytical and time management skills.
  • Knowledge of algorithms and data structures.
