Executive Financial Director Role

The Executive Financial Director plays a pivotal role in overseeing the company's financial, operational, and risk management functions. This includes developing a comprehensive financial and strategic plan, establishing key performance indicators (KPIs) aligned with that strategy, and continuously improving and monitoring control systems to safeguard company assets and ensure accurate financial reporting.

This is a high-level executive position that demands expertise in finance, leadership, and strategic planning. The ideal candidate should possess a deep understanding of financial markets, corporate governance, and regulatory requirements.

A strong track record of success in a similar role, along with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, is essential for this position. Experience working with executive teams and the ability to drive business growth through sound financial decisions are also highly valued.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute financial strategies that align with the company's goals and objectives.
  • Oversee capital request and budgeting processes to ensure effective resource allocation.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to shape the company's future direction and support tactical initiatives.
  • Monitor and direct the implementation of strategic business plans.
  • Design and implement performance metrics that support the company's strategic objectives.
Requirements

The ideal candidate should possess a CA or CFA designation in accounting or business administration, or equivalent business experience, along with 10+ years of progressively responsible experience in a major company or division of a large corporation.

They should also have experience working with executive teams and demonstrate exceptional written and oral communication skills.

Preference will be given to candidates holding a CA in Finance and possessing certifications such as Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA).
