Area Educational Manager

The Area Leadership role oversees the academic leadership and management of Schools and entire cohort of Principals. This position plays a pivotal role in ensuring improvement in Student Satisfaction Ratings, fee collection enhancement, and day-to-day fleet management.

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing overall administrative duties & Academic data management (analysis, verification & preservation).

Relationship Management

Maintaining open communication with community members is crucial to foster strong relationships and encourage collaboration with local resources to support schools as needed.

Strong relationships with Parents are expected, with regular attendance at Parent-Student meetings when required.

Liaison with donors is necessary for donor-related education activities.

Collaboration

Maintaining regular communication with other Area Educational Managers (AEMs) is essential to foster a collaborative working environment, seeking feedback and sharing best practices to drive regional development.

Principal Quality Improvement

Strengthening the Principal cohort is vital to improve overall quality.

Closely working with the Recruitment and Human Resources Manager is crucial to recruit high-quality local Principals through Assessment Centers.

Ensuring full participation in Professional Qualification Institute visits and providing regular academic feedback to Principals, monitoring continuous improvement throughout the year is key to success.

Teacher Quality Improvement

Focusing on strengthening the Teacher cohort to enhance overall quality (Content through Teachers' Capacity Training and Pedagogy) is a top priority.

Partnering with Principals to recruit quality local Teachers, particularly in challenging locations, is crucial.

Approving Teacher transfers and promotion recommendations while conducting regular classroom observations and providing consistent feedback is essential.

School Quality Improvement

Developing action plans for struggling schools in the area, implementing and regularly following up to ensure improvement is critical.

Planning and developing strategies for area improvement (through Annual Improvement Plans) clearly linked to whole school and area improvement is essential.

Job Requirements
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, persuasion, and interpersonal skills are a must.
  • A strong command over English and Urdu is required.
  • Proficiency in using computers (MS Office, Internet, etc.) Ability to multitask and meet deadlines is essential.
  • Analytical skills are a necessity.
