Senior Finance Manager Position

The Senior Finance Manager will oversee budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting activities. This role requires strong leadership skills, financial expertise, and a hands-on approach to managing financial processes and providing insights to senior management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Budget Management: Prepare and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial reports.
  • Financial Strategy: Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with company goals and market trends.
  • Financial Operations: Oversee financial operations including payroll, invoicing, and cash flow management.
  • Investment Management: Monitor investments, assess financial risks, and optimize resource allocation.
  • Inventory Accounting: Manage inventory accounting to ensure accurate valuation, cost allocation, and alignment with physical stock, while coordinating with operations to control discrepancies and losses.
  • Financial Analysis: Analyze financial performance to provide insights and strategic recommendations.
  • Tax Compliance: Manage tax filings and ensure full compliance with local tax regulations.
  • Receivables and Assets: Monitor and record company receivables and assets with regular reconciliation.
  • Liabilities: Monitor liabilities, ensuring timely payments and minimizing overdue accounts.
  • Financial Reconciliation: Ensure accurate and timely reconciliation of ledger accounts, including inventory, receivables, and payables, and resolve any discrepancies to maintain financial accuracy.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, internal controls, and audit requirements.
  • Audit Management: Coordinate internal and external audits and manage relationships with banks, auditors, and financial institutions.
  • Executive Support: Support executive leadership with financial modeling and strategic planning.
  • Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team to strengthen internal capabilities.
  • Financial Tools: Utilize financial tools and software for efficient reporting and analysis.
Requirements:
  • Educational Qualification: Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Professional Experience: 12+ years of progressive experience in financial management and accounting.
  • Financial Expertise: Strong understanding of financial regulations, taxation, budgeting, and audit procedures.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent leadership, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in financial management software (e.g. QuickBooks, Oracle etc.).
