Job Title: Financial Administrator">

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Financial Administrator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day financial operations of the organization, ensuring that all financial transactions are accurately recorded and reported.

The ideal candidate will have excellent analytical skills, be able to work independently with minimal supervision, and possess strong communication skills. They will also be proficient in accounting software and have a basic understanding of financial concepts.

Responsibilities:

  • Collects and deposits cash from branches on time, maintaining accurate records of receipts and disbursements.
  • Prepares a Bank reconciliation statement monthly, identifying any discrepancies or irregularities.
  • Prepares Aging's of Account receivable & Payable, ensuring timely payment of outstanding invoices.
  • Coordinates recovery-related matters with the HO, following credit policy deadlines to avoid bad debts.
  • Prepares petty cash and all kinds of vouchers in a timely manner, adhering to company policies and procedures.
  • Arranges vouchers with supporting documents and sends them to HO in time, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Timely deposits utility bills, EOBI, Rent, Loans, and other statutory payments, maintaining accurate records of payments.
  • Maintains efficient records of vouchers, Contracts, agreements, hard & soft forms, ensuring easy access to critical documents.
  • Tags fixed assets according to the Fixed asset register, updating records as necessary.
  • Posts accounting transactions in accounting software on time, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial data.
  • Keeps cheques and cash in safe custody and deposits/Submit to concerns, minimizing risks associated with loss or theft.
  • Assists internal and external auditors during stocktake and financial audits, providing necessary information and support.
  • Ensures presence during audit days, facilitating smooth completion of the audit process.
  • Provides Bio-matric/register attendance to HO-Finance on time, ensuring accurate tracking of employee attendance.
  • Timely transfers funds into HO Bank account, maintaining liquidity and meeting financial obligations.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Accounting or related field, preferably with relevant certifications (e.g., ACCA, CMA).
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in financial administration, preferably in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and company policies.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision and prioritize tasks effectively.
