Are you a skilled professional looking for a challenging role? We are seeking an experienced individual to lead our Air Freight Operations team. In this position, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to drive business growth and excellence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor and analyze air freight operations to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to enhance efficiency and productivity.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, carriers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless logistics operations.
  • Select and finalize overseas agents as per business requirements, ensuring they meet our standards for quality and service.
  • Negotiate contracts with airlines and suppliers, securing favorable terms that benefit our business.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans for air freight business, focusing on growth, profitability, and customer satisfaction.
  • Lead teams to achieve targets, drive innovation, and optimize resources.
  • Foster collaboration between branches and external partners to drive business success.
  • Manage contract performance, relationships, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure IATA certification and compliance across all operations.
  • Monitor and renew certifications annually, maintaining a high level of professionalism and expertise.
  • Oversee overall AFR operations, ensuring smooth execution, efficient use of resources, and effective decision-making.
  • Develop and manage department budgets, assuming full ownership and accountability.
  • Authorize payments related to AFR operations, ensuring transparency and adherence to policies.
Essential Skills and Qualifications
  • A minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in air freight operations or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of air freight operations, including sales, marketing, and logistics.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships.
  • Ability to think critically, analyze complex problems, and develop creative solutions.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure, meeting deadlines and achieving targets.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and other relevant software applications.
