Job Overview

The Electrical Team Lead is responsible for ensuring the site adheres to all relevant standards. This includes supervising electrical maintenance activities, leading multi-disciplined teams, and analyzing downtimes to identify long-term solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical oversight and approval of all electrical installations and modifications, including capital project activity.
  • Create and implement electrical strategies for the site through the interpretation and application of engineering standards and local regulations.
  • Train, develop, and mentor electrical team members to ensure their skills and knowledge are developed to support customer requirements.
  • Develop the site electrical maintenance strategy to ensure adherence to engineering standards and local regulations.
  • Liaise with the shared service to ensure compliance is met on site and facilitate any regulatory inspections.
  • Responsible for electrical systems, installations, and safety of the site, including coordinating with regional electrical teams to ensure 100% compliance with global electrical standards.
  • Ensure all electrical equipment and distribution networks are working smoothly with proper maintenance through CMMS, along with adherence to PM checklists as per plan.
  • Identify and contribute to cost-saving projects through operational excellence and beyond.
Requirements
  • Minimum 5-7 years of experience in electrical engineering.
  • Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical) degree.
  • Competency and sufficient knowledge of electrical systems, techniques, and methods, especially in pharmaceuticals.
  • Good communication, presentation, and computer skills.
  • Negotiation and time management skills.

This role requires close working and alignment with other departments, process owners, project teams, contractors, and vendors to achieve optimal outcomes.
