DevOps Engineer Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled DevOps professional to join our team in supporting cloud-based infrastructure and driving data engineering initiatives.

The ideal candidate will possess expertise in DevOps practices, containerization, data pipeline development, and troubleshooting complex workflows.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide support for GCP infrastructure with a focus on efficient resource utilization and scalability.
  • Develop and optimize data pipelines for high-performance processing using GCP services.
  • Debug and enhance SQL queries, Python scripts, and R code to ensure optimal performance.
  • Manage databases including Redshift, PostgreSQL, and MS SQL.
  • Work with Kubernetes for container orchestration and resource management.
  • Utilize Docker and Argo Workflows for workflow orchestration.
  • Ensure seamless data access and integration for Tableau users.
  • Troubleshoot and optimize ETL processes including Pentaho/Carte workflows.
  • Enhance Java-based components as required.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 4-5 years of experience in DevOps and data engineering roles.
  • Strong experience with GCP infrastructure and cloud networking.
  • Proficiency in Python for scripting, automation, and debugging.
  • Hands-on experience with SQL query optimization across multiple database engines.
  • Experience managing Kubernetes clusters and containerized workloads.
  • Understanding of Docker and Argo Workflows.
  • Familiarity with Tableau for data visualization.
  • Experience with Pentaho/Carte for ETL process debugging.
  • Basic Java knowledge for troubleshooting integrations.
Nice to Have:
  • Experience with AWS services for data processing and orchestration.
  • Familiarity with additional BI tools and ETL platforms.
  • Experience working in hybrid cloud environments.
