Cloud Infrastructure Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Cloud Infrastructure Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Azure DevOps and Microsoft Azure services, with at least 3 years of experience in automating, managing, and optimizing cloud infrastructure.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, automating, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for applications, services, and infrastructure, as well as setting up and managing build and release pipelines in Azure DevOps.

  1. Developing and automating CI/CD pipelines for cloud-based applications and services.
  2. Managing and optimizing cloud infrastructure, including Compute, Storage, Networking, and Security.
  3. Implementing version control (Git) and branching strategies, as well as managing repositories.
  4. Configuring and managing Web Application Firewall (WAF) to protect applications from web threats.
  5. Designing, deploying, and monitoring ETL pipelines using Microsoft Fabric components.
  6. Integrating data storage solutions within Fabric with Azure Data Services.
  7. Automating and optimizing data flow for large-scale environments.
  8. Writing PowerShell scripts to automate tasks and provision environments.
  9. Developing reusable scripts for infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and deployments.
  10. Producing clear and detailed technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, flow charts, and infrastructure layouts.
  11. Communicating technical designs to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  12. Working directly with clients to understand their requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  13. Providing timely updates, troubleshooting issues, and guiding clients on cloud best practices.
  14. Planning and executing cross-tenant migrations for Azure, Power Platform, and Microsoft 365 environments.
  15. Implementing Azure Security Center, Azure Policy, and Azure Sentinel to ensure secure, compliant environments.
  16. Managing access with Role-Based Access Control (RBAC), adhering to least-privilege principles.
  17. Configuring and optimizing Web Application Firewall (WAF) for secure cloud-based deployments.
  18. Using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights to monitor and troubleshoot infrastructure, applications, and pipelines.
  19. Diagnosing issues quickly and implementing solutions to ensure high performance and availability.
  20. Containerization using Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes.
  21. Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform, Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates, or Bicep.
  22. Familiarity with Azure Functions, Logic Apps, or other serverless solutions.
  23. Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and DevOps best practices.
  24. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  25. Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Cloud Engineering role, focusing on Azure and Microsoft DevOps solutions.
  26. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to emerging technologies.
  27. Microsoft Certified: DevOps Engineer Expert (AZ-400) - Preferred.
  28. Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert (AZ-305) - Preferred.
