Job Summary:

The Sales and Technical Services Associate plays a vital role in achieving sales targets by providing technical services to various segments of paints.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Sales Performance: Meet agreed sales targets by developing expertise in paint application, coordinate with suppliers, and assist in equipment selection.
  2. Technical Support: Provide technical assistance and information, particularly in the decorative segment, and solve daily routine problems in consultation with Regional Sales Managers.
  3. Business Development: Assist RSMs in new customer development and stay updated on competitor activities.
  4. Customer Relations: Establish relationships with customers, conduct regular visits to prospective customers, and respond to customer inquiries.
  5. Debtors Management: Make collections according to invoice terms, keep records of debtors, and follow up on outstanding issues as per RSM advice.
  6. Reporting and Record Keeping: Report management about competition activities in the region, prepare reports on outstanding MRO, and monitor OEM customers' stock levels.
  7. Other Tasks: Perform any assignment given by higher management and apply industrial, floor, and decorative coatings according to procedure.

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's degree in chemistry and/or business administration.
  2. Pleasant personality and good communication skills.
  3. Minimum 2 years of experience in heavy-duty, industrial, marine, and floor coatings sales.
  4. Willin gness to travel and ability to develop business.
  5. Valid driving license.
