Virtualization Engineer

  • We are seeking a skilled Virtualization Engineer to lead the design, deployment, and management of our infrastructure platform. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in virtualization technologies, VMware, Windows Server environments, and automation tools like Ansible.
  • The Virtualization Engineer will be responsible for ensuring the availability, scalability, and performance of mission-critical systems, as well as collaborating with storage and networking teams to design and implement vSAN configurations.
  • This person should be a seasoned, self-motivated professional with at least 5 to 8 years of hands-on engineering and administration experience on the technology and products mentioned below.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Extensive experience designing, implementing, and managing VMware ESXi, and vSAN infrastructure in large-scale enterprise environments.
  • In-depth knowledge of vRealize Suite, Aria (vRealize Orchestrator), SRM and RP4VM including configuration, customization, and integration with Citrix and VMware environments.
  • Proficiency in scripting and automation using PowerShell, Python, or similar languages for infrastructure orchestration and automation.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues.
