Amazon Drop Shipping Leader

The incumbent will oversee the full life cycle of drop shipping, encompassing business development, management, and maintenance for various Amazon accounts. This role involves supervising and driving these processes to achieve company goals.

This lead will be responsible for managing all processes initially; however, with increasing order volume, responsibilities will be assigned to a team of virtual assistants.

• Business Development:
  • Product hunting is a core function based on sales projections for each account. Responsibilities include:
  • Filtering out products based on eligibility, availability, demand, sales volume, and profitability;
  • Maintaining detailed records in excel format with ASIN and 3rd party product code for reference;
  • Strategically determining sales targets;
  • Coordinating with suppliers on new product launches, seasonal products, forecasts, and demand planning, and dropshipping store changes.
• Product Listing and Inventory Management:
  • Strategically list product(s) on Amazon based on competitor analysis, price analysis, shipping time, inventory, buy box, and sales expectation.
  • Control and close supervision of listed products' prices throughout the shift to meet both sales goals and market price competition;
  • Communicate with suppliers regarding product samples and limited-time promotions;
  • Obtain sample products for quality controls on all listed product types;
  • Monitoring inventory levels regularly to meet daily sales targets.
• Business Management (Order Processing):
  • Ensuring on-time order processing with a team of Virtual Assistants (VAs) is another core function of the drop shipping lead. It includes:
  • Close coordination with the HR team to ensure the appropriate number of VAs are recruited;
  • Target-based shift and schedule development with the HR team for order processing VAs;
  • Supervising VAs to ensure all orders are properly processed (exact item, quantity ordered, packing, etc.) and dispatched according to instructions from end customers;
  • Order tracking with suppliers and updating customers with tracking numbers;
  • Communicating with suppliers to coordinate orders and deliveries;
  • Dispatching orders from drop-shipping warehouses as needed.
• Record Keeping:
  • Maintain daily orders processing sheet and coordinate with the finance team.
  • Update and maintain periodic reports to be shared with the management team.
• CUSTOMER RELATIONS:
  • Collaborate with suppliers to resolve billing issues and ensure the quality of products.
  • Communicate with customers via phone, email, or website online chat, ensuring responses to customers are within a 24-hour window;
  • Keep track of the health of all accounts and update management on any concerns or issues;
  • Counter and manage customer claims, arrange for refunds and rectify complaints.
