Amazon Drop Shipping Lead Position

The incumbent will oversee the entire lifecycle of drop shipping, including business development, management, and maintenance for various Amazon accounts.

This role requires supervising and driving processes with a team to achieve company goals. Initially, this lead will handle all responsibilities; however, as order volume increases, tasks will be assigned to a team of virtual assistants.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Business Development:
    Product hunting is a core function based on sales projections for each account. Key responsibilities include:
  • Filtering products based on eligibility, availability, demand, sales volume, and profitability;
  • Maintaining detailed records in Excel format with ASIN and 3rd party product code for reference;
  • Determining sales targets strategically;
  • Coordinating with suppliers on new product launches, seasonal products, forecasts, and demand planning, and dropshipping store changes.
  1. Product Listing and Inventory Management:
    Strategically list products on Amazon based on competitor analysis, price analysis, shipping time, inventory, buy box, and sales expectation.
  • Controlling and closely supervising listed products' prices throughout the shift to meet both sales goals and market price competition;
  • Communicating with suppliers regarding product samples and limited-time promotions;
  • Obtaining sample products for quality control checks on all listed product types;
  • Monitoring inventory levels regularly to meet daily sales targets.
  1. Business Management (Order Processing):
    Ensuring timely order processing with a team of Virtual Assistants (VAs) is another core function of the drop shipping lead. This includes:
  • Closely coordinating with the HR team to ensure the appropriate number of VAs are recruited;
  • Developing target-based shifts and schedules with the HR team for order processing VAs;
  • Supervising VAs to ensure all orders are properly processed and dispatched according to instructions from end customers;
  • Tracking orders with suppliers and updating customers with tracking numbers;
  • Communicating with suppliers to coordinate orders and deliveries;
  • Dispatching orders from drop-shipping warehouses as needed.
  1. Record Keeping:
    Maintain daily orders processing sheets and coordinate with the finance team.
  • Updating and maintaining periodic reports to be shared with the management team.
  1. Customer Relations:
    Collaborate with suppliers to resolve billing issues and ensure product quality.
  • Communicating with customers via phone, email, or online chat, ensuring responses are within a 24-hour window;
  • Monitoring the health of all accounts and updating management on any concerns or issues;
  • Managing customer claims, arranging refunds, and resolving complaints.
Job Requirements

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Proficient in verbal and written English;
  • Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, coaching, and interpersonal skills;
  • Proficiency with computers, especially MS Office.
