Job Title: Proposal Development Specialist

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Proposal Development Specialist to play a crucial role in our organization's growth by preparing, developing, and delivering comprehensive proposals for potential clients. The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to gather technical information, analyze client needs, and create persuasive proposals that align with business goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Proposal Development: Lead the end-to-end proposal development process, including research, content creation, and document formatting, ensuring that proposals are clear, persuasive, and tailored to each client's specific requirements.
  • Technical Analysis: Collaborate with technical experts to understand project requirements, develop technical solutions, and translate complex technical information into easily understandable content for non-technical stakeholders.
  • Cost Estimation: Prepare accurate cost estimates for proposed projects, considering materials, labor, equipment, and other relevant factors, while maintaining competitiveness and profitability.
  • Competitive Analysis: Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify strengths and weaknesses, helping to position our proposals strategically in the market.
  • Client Engagement: Interface with clients to clarify project details, answer queries, and ensure that proposals align with their expectations and needs.
  • Documentation and Compliance: Maintain a comprehensive database of proposal content, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and client requirements.

Requirements:
The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical information in a clear and concise manner. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential, as is the ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines. A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field is required, with PEC registration being a plus. Skilled in PVsyst, HelioScope, AutoCAD, SketchUp, and other relevant software. Technical Skills:
  • Conducting technical/financial feasibility studies and developing technical/price proposals
  • Calculating, designing, and simulating solar PV systems
  • Assisting with administrative and permit works
  • Identifying and managing scope, constraints, risks, assumptions, and deadlines
  • Assisting with documentation and other project deliverables
