About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Legal Counsel to join our team. As a Senior Legal Counsel, you will be responsible for providing strategic legal advice to our business units and ensuring compliance with organizational standards and regulatory requirements.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing legal counsel to our business units on contractual matters, including software licensing agreements, NDAs, subcontractor agreements, partnership agreements, and service contracts.
  • Ensuring compliance with organizational standards, Pakistan, U.S., and Canadian regulatory requirements across all contractual matters.
  • Supporting corporate governance initiatives, maintaining high standards of record-keeping and regulatory compliance.
  • Assisting in any and all corporate setup/restructuring efforts, whether associated with M&A transactions or otherwise.

You will work closely with senior management in Pakistan, as well as business unit leadership across Canada and the United States. The role will report locally to business unit management and functionally to Contour's Associate General Counsel.

Key Performance Indicators

  • Average duration for legal document execution and sign off.
  • Number of compliance breaches or audit findings.
  • % of M&A deals supported without legal issues post-close.
