Project Manager

At our organization, we are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to oversee the implementation and promotion of WASH policies and procedures. This individual will be responsible for maintaining accurate records of project status, reporting to donor organizations and head office on a bi-weekly/monthly basis, and addressing key issues faced by hygiene promoters.

The successful candidate will possess excellent communication skills, report writing abilities, and fluency in English. As part of their duties, they will be responsible for coordinating meetings at the district/agency level, developing project-related case studies from the field, and enhancing relationships with local government agencies.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work collaboratively with various stakeholders to drive project success and contribute to the improvement of health and hygiene education. Responsibilities:

  • Implement and promote WASH policy and procedures.
  • Maintain proper and updated record of the project status on a regular basis.
  • Bi-weekly/monthly reporting to the donor organization and Head office.
  • Address the main issues faced by hygiene promoters.
  • Responsible for WASH coordination meetings at district level/Agency Level.
  • Develop project-related case studies from the field.
  • Attend and deliver training on health and hygiene education.
  • Enhance and maintain contacts with local government agencies including the education department and TMO and proper mechanism of sharing progress with them.
  • Monitor the ongoing hardware activities and software activities of the project on a regular basis.
  • Responsible for monthly reporting regarding progress and issues faced while conducting the activities.
  • Responsible for monthly planning to submit to head office and donor organization.
  • PM will be responsible for staff orientation, assessment, planning, reporting, and coordination meetings at district/agency level.
