About the Role:
The Catalyst Group's Executive Search Firm is seeking a skilled Senior Merger & Acquisition Analyst to join our team in Karachi. This expert will assist the M&A Manager in conducting due diligence processes, analyzing company information, and executing acquisitions efficiently.
The Company:
Banyan Software is a private equity firm specializing in software businesses across North America, the UK, and Australia. Our focus is on long-term growth and integration through strategic acquisitions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the M&A Manager in preliminary checks on potential acquisition targets
- Conduct thorough due diligence processes by gathering and analyzing company information
- Develop and run valuation models, preparing detailed reports for senior stakeholders
- Collaborate with internal and external teams to ensure compliance with due diligence processes
- Report findings and insights to the M&A Manager and senior team members
- Identify and evaluate acquisition opportunities with the M&A team
Requirements:
- 5-8 years of experience in M&A, investment banking, corporate finance, FP&A, or business advisory roles
- Experience working with private equity firms or companies that grow through acquisitions is preferred
- Strong analytical skills, with a focus on valuation and due diligence
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
